We offer a confidential and impartial consumer advice
service. Advice and assistance is available for many consumer
problems, including pre shopping advice.

This service is provided in partnership with Consumer
Direct West Midlands. Consumer Direct is a government funded
initiative to provide first step information and advice to
telephone callers across the Midlands. Advisors will usually be
able to give an immediate answer to a problem. In more complex
cases, or where a consumer reports a potentially criminal offence,
they will pass the details to Trading Standards for further advice
and investigation.
In certain cases, Trading Standards may be able to negotiate
with a trader on your behalf. We can also provide advice and
assistance to help you take your claim to the small claims
court.
