Licensing and registration

We are directly responsible for a number of licensing and registration matters including those which apply to explosives, fireworks, petroleum and poisons .

In addition we have enforcement responsibilities linked to other licenses including :
  • Consumer Credit
  • Alcohol and entertainment

This page allows you to download application forms for the licences and registrations we issue. The forms should be printed, completed, and posted to us at the address below.

Please note: Consumer Credit licences are issued by the Office of Fair Trading.

If you want to sell fireworks throughout the whole year you need to complete application forms for both an explosives licence and an annual licence to sell fireworks.
