| From our point of view sourcing goods and services, in
particular tendering exercises can be extremely time
consuming. | |
To improve your chances of winning business consider the
following:
- Always read the advertisement carefully and submit a request in
writing for the documentation and information detailed within the
advert
- Respond to the specification as it is written, not what you
would like it to be.
- Where variants are being offered, detail this clearly and
provide supporting information on suitability.
- In completing a questionnaire, make sure that you provide all
the information requested and answer all questions accurately.
- Return tenders by the closing date and time specified. Late
tenders can not be considered.
- Respond promptly to any requests for further information.
- If in doubt ask. Contact the council officer named in the
tender
documentation.
