| The City Strategy Project is a pilot project that
supports people back into training and
employment. | |

The project is aimed at those who have been in receipt of
Incapacity Benefit, Jobseekers' Allowance or Income Support (for
Lone Parents) for 12 months or more
Job Junctions have been set up in two areas (Malinslee and
Donnington) with staff are available to support clients with:
- Preparation for the Workplace
- Gaining a qualification
- Debt counselling
- Confidence building
- Interview skills
- Application forms
- Local courses
- CV help
A range of courses have been organised within the Malinslee and
Donnington areas to compliment the local Job Junctions.
Partner Organisations include:
- Landau
- Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB)
- Council for Voluntary Service (CVS)
- Mencap
- Shropshire County Council, County Training
- Telford and Wrekin Community Learning & Employment
Team
- Telford College of Arts & Technology
- Telford & Wrekin Inclusive Education & Training
Team
