Borough of Telford & Wrekin

Anti Social Behaviour Officer

My name is Paul Fenn and I am the Anti Social Behaviour Coordinator.
My main aim is to act as a focus for information within the Safer and Stronger Communities Partnership on Anti-Social Behaviour and crime in the borough, and to co-ordinate processes, initiate actions and initiatives to tackle and identify Anti Social Behaviour.

I develop effective working links with partner and agencies to ensure that the Council's response is informed, appropriate and effective.

The definition of Anti Social Behaviour which is defined in the Crime and disorder Act 1998 as an individual acting in a "manner that caused or was likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress to one or more persons not of the same household as him / herself"

I am able to implement actions through the Respect action plan which is a cross-Government strategy to tackle Anti Social Behaviour

It is about government, local agencies, local communities and ultimately every citizen working together in partnership in identifying and tackling Anti social Behaviour. This will lead to a safer and stronger environment for us to live and work in.
