My name is Michelle Dixon and I am the Team Leader to the
Neighbourhood Co-ordination team.
The team's current priorities concentrate on areas with particular
needs and we are at present working towards ensuring that residents
are not disadvantaged by where they live and feel part of a safe,
clean, skilled and vibrant community. To do this we work in
partnership with a wide range of agencies which can include, other
council services, Police, Fire and Rescue and Registered Social
Landlords,
The team are based in various communities throughout Telford and
consists of four Patch based Co-ordinators, a dedicated
Anti Social Behaviour Officer, and a team administrator to
support the process. Our flexible approach often means we can
respond quickly to community concerns by positively reacting to
problems as they arise, and proactively by investigating the root
cause of local issues to minimise any future detrimental
impact.
We have a numbers of ways that residents can be a part of the
