Telford has exciting times ahead as the plans are to
embark on a major scheme of regeneration. The new town that was
built 40 years ago has left us with some unfinished business and we
are going to complete the town.
A major regeneration scheme will transform the centre of Telford.
We will create a town that lives and breathes, that attracts people
to live, work and play and a place that people are proud to call a
home- a city of the future.
The borough is one of the fastest growing areas in the UK and our
population is expected to reach 200,000 within the next 15 years.
It is also and attractive proposition for businesses looking to
relocate or expand in the area- we have a highly skilled and
diverse workforce, a young population and a strong sense of
entrepreneurship.
