community to help inform and shape our direction, priorities, plans
and services. To achieve this, we consult local people and
community organisations in many different

Engaging the community - the underlying
principles behind the way in which we consult local people,
businesses, groups and organisations.
Consultation database
- search our on-line database of consultation activities that are
planned or have taken place. Provides links to any current on-line
consultation activities.
Telford and Wrekin Community Panel - this
comprises some 1,000 local residents and allows them to give their
views on things that are important to the local community. The
Panel is run by us but its results are used by other key services
including the Police, Fire Authority and Telford & Wrekin
Primary Care Trust.
