Electoral Register - 2009 |
| We are now working on the annual canvass for the 2009
Electoral
Register. | |
During the next three months we have to contact all
70,000 households in the Borough to check that we have everyone
correctly registered. This is a major task for us. Forms have now
been sent to every property, and a team of canvassers will follow
up with personal visits to those houses that fail to reply to our
first form.
Please help us to save your money by replying promptly to the
canvass form.
If you find that no changes are needed to the form, you can
register by freephone on 0800 197 9877 or by the internet at
www.registerbyinternet.com/btw
but you will need the Part 1 and Part 2 numbers printed on your
form to do this.
If changes are needed to the form, we will need to receive a signed
form for your property. We have received the advice of the Ministry
of Justice on this matter, who state that as the law currently
standsit is not possible for us to receive changes to registration
by phone or internet.
