Wildlife and landscapes will be the focus of a free special walk
being held by Telford and Wrekin Council's Landscape and Recreation
Service on Saturday 14 June.
The beginners guide will highlight how to photograph wildlife such
as the Peacock butterfly, the lush pink Common Orchids or even the
vibrant Kingfisher at Telford Town Park's Local Nature
Reserve.
Set to take place between 10am and 12pm, the free guided walk will
also give people the chance to learn how to creatively photograph
in the natural outdoors where wild corners are crucial habitats for
a variety of wildlife.
Cllr Denis Allen, Cabinet Member for Community Services said "What
better way to capture Mother Nature in all its glory. The guided
walk offers budding photographers the chance to learn some
essential tips and to enjoy all that Telford Town Park has to
offer."
Hema Kasi-Patel, Telford and Wrekin Council's Parks and Recreation
Development Officer, said "The nature reserve attracts a variety of
wildlife and is a haven for various species, both on the ground and
in the air."
Booking is essential for the forthcoming walk, which is
approximately a mile long. The walk is suitable for adults and
walkers are asked to meet Spout Farm House at Telford Town Park.
Participants are advised to wear suitable outdoor clothing and
stout footwear.
People wanting to book a place or find out more should call the
