Child protection training

The early years and childcare team offer child protection training at basic and advanced levels. All child protection training is carried out by trainers approved by the Telford & Wrekin Local Safeguarding Children Board. The following courses are offered:-

LSCB Child Protection Awareness
LSCB Level 2 Child Protection - Developing Child Protection Practice
Child Protection Co-ordinators support sessions
The Hidden Sentence - working with families of prisoners
The Forgotten Children - private fostering arrangements
Children Abused through exploitation
Children and the Net
Working together in case conferences and core groups.
