| The West Midlands Regional Outcomes Based Accountability
Network is a working group focussing on the implementation and
further development of outcomes focussed practice across the West
Midlands region. | |
The network was established in November 2006 following a
series of interactive lectures sponsored by the Department for
Children Schools and Families (DCFS) and the Improvement and
Development Agency (IDeA) to begin to change the culture of target
chasing to one of delivering and demonstrating real outcomes.
Following a successful bid by Telford & Wrekin Council and
Shropshire County Council to the Beacon Peer Support Fund,
Parvinder Chana - Outcomes Based Accountability Development Officer
will be leading the implemetation of OBA across both local
authorities and supporting the regional network.
The regional network met on 20th March 2008 and focussed on action
planning, training and sharing good practice. The note of this
