Advice:
- Pre-application advice is available.
- We will facilitate a partnering arrangement with an individual
local authority at the request of the developer, which will be
supported by a regional network as necessary.
- On large projects we aim to nominate an officer to offer
pre-application advice and to deal with the project through to
completion.
- We will facilitate in liaising with other organisations and
agencies, including Council departments related to the development,
throughout the life of the project.
- Local site histories and knowledge can be made available to the
developer.
- If unexpected problems arise on site, then consultation can be
arranged.
Plans stage:
- We welcome early discussion on appropriate fees and give
positive consideration to requests for stage payments
- We aim to acknowledge receipt and validate all applications
within three working days
- We aim to check all applications within 15 working days
- We aim to approve your application and can offer advice as to
the requirements of the regulations
- We can provide technical guidance to ensure uniformity of
interpretation
Inspections:
- All inspections requested before 10am will be carried out that
day (other than for completions).
- Inspections can be arranged by telephone, fax or any other
electronic means.
- Completion Certificates will be issued free of charge.
- Special arrangements can be made and an inspection service
agreed to suit your requirements on large projects.
