What is Shropshire Healthy Eating Award |

The Shropshire Healthy Eating Award (SHEA) is a
patnership between Shropshire County and Telford & Wrekin
Environmental Health Departments, Shropshire County Primary Care
Trust and Telford & Wrekin Primary Care Trust.
The aim of the award is to encourage caterers to offer diners
healthy options on their menus.
The Shropshire Healthy Eating Award will be given to premises that
satisfy the following criteria:
- Provision and promotion of healthy choices
- Comply with the Health Act 2006, Smokefree within workplaces
and vehicles
- Good standards of food hygiene
- Staff trained in respect of food hygiene
- Breast feeding friendly (gold & platinum level)
The award recognises four levels of
achievement;
Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum
