The Environmental Maintenance team looks after trees and
woodland on council owned land and verges in the borough, along
with a number of attractive open spaces.
We are also committed to preserving ancient woodland at The
Ercall, Limekiln Wood and
Granville Country

What do we do?
We currently employ two full time
Aboricultural Officers who work with our contractors Telford and
Wrekin Services (TWS) to manage and monitor borough trees, help
with public queries and provide information on tree conservation
and management.

If you need any help or guidance on tree issues or
tree protection orders, have a look at our

'Right to Light' and television licences. If the answer you
need isn't there, contact the tree team on 01952 384384 or
email.
Please be aware that tree surgery can be very dangerous and
should only be carried out by qualified personnel with the correct
licences and equipment.
Any works undertaken are required to meet British
Standards.
