timetable for preparation of the Local Development Framework are
provided in the council's Local Development Scheme
(LDS). | |
This scheme clearly identifies the key milestones in plan
preparation and opportunities for community engagement. The current
scheme for the Borough covers the three year period up to April
2010 and will be reviewed annually. It was approved fit for purpose
on 16th April 2006 and has an effective date of 3rd August 2007.
This revised scheme replaces the Borough's previous Local
Development Scheme which had an effective date of 1st August
2006.
A key change is an additional Preferred Options
consultation on the Central Telford Area Action Plan, the
consultation/submission dates for a number of other documents have
been moved back to allow for receipt of the Inspectors report, on
the 'Core Strategy'.
