Asbestos disposal
Asbestos can ONLY be disposed of at Granville CRC. If you are
transporting this material using a van, trailer or an commercial
vehicle you will require a CRC entry permit. For

CRC Entry Permits
Please allow up to 2 weeks for processing and delivery of permits.
Permits are supplied to householder's only and all details are kept
for monitoring purposes. None of the Authority's CRC sites
accept trade or business waste.
Safety Notice
Where possible do not break the asbestos. However if this
is unavoidable, you are advised to dampen with water, wear an
appropriate face mask and use appropriate gloves. Double bag any
broken pieces and secure the bag before moving the material. Sheets
of undamaged asbestos may be transported normally. The Authority
does not operate a collection service for
asbestos.
