If you run a business in the Telford and Wrekin area,
these pages can help you deal with your waste and recycling. Free

Your responsibilities
As a business owner you are responsible for finding a waste
management company to take your waste. You have a duty to make sure
the person receiving your waste is authorised to do so. You can do
this by asking to see their waste management licence or reference
number. This is called your 'Duty of Care'.
To help you identify what you must do to dispose of your waste
we have provided a list of
do's and don'ts.
We have a duty to arrange commercial waste collections for
businesses in the Borough, if asked to do so. We do this through
our waste management contractor, Telford and Wrekin Services,
although there are many other waste contractors who can provide the
same service.
