What do they do?

Chairs and Spares is a Charity set up to reuse household furniture and electrical white goods. Items are collected and passed on to people on low income. Telford & Wrekin is proud to support this project as it saves these items from going to waste and helps people throughout the Telford area.

To donate your good quality, unwanted furniture please phone Chairs and Spares on 01952 619197.

What do they accept?

Chairs and Spares collect from the homes of people who wish to donate items to the charity, provided the items meet Trading Standards requirements; all fabric items must have fire labels that meet the standards introduced in 1988. All electrical goods must be in working order, fridges should be no more than six years old. We test and certificate all electrical items before passing them on to people in need. Unfortunately we are unable to accept gas appliances.
