Why has my bin not been emptied
today?
Your bin
should be put out before 7.00am on the scheduled collection day. In
areas included in the alternating collection scheme, the bin lid
should be closed, and no side waste left out.

We will endeavour to empty your bin within 24 hours of you
reporting it to our Customer Services team (Monday-Friday)
My bin is missing /
damaged - how can I request a new one?
If you previously had a bin at your property but it is now missing
or damaged, you can request a new one by contacting our Customer
Services Team by

There is no charge for this service.
Households of 5 or more people may be
issued with additional smaller bins, this may also apply to others
in special circumstances.
An additional bin will only be given if the household is making use
of the kerbside recycling service.

My bin is too big;
can I have a smaller one?
If you live in a small household then thenyou may
not fill your bin and may appreciate the extra space offered by
having a smaller bin. You an request a smaller bin by contacting

I have just moved into a newly built property-how can I
request a bin?
If you have moved into a newly built property
you can request a new bin by contacting our Customer Services Team
by e-mail or by
phoning on 01952 384384. There are two sizes of bins available
depending on your requirements. Most of the Borough is included in
the alternating collection scheme so it is likely that you will
also require a kerbside recycling box and possibly a green waste
bin. Further details are available from Customer Services Team, or
alternatively you may wish to request an information leaflet.

Can I be
considered for a pull out and return
service?
If you are
having difficulties presenting your bin or kerbside recycling box
you can request an assisted pull out service. This services is
available to old or disabled residents who have no one in the
household, or a friend or relative who is able to present their bin
and / or box for collection. The bin / kerbside box will collected
and returned to your property by our refuse collectors.
