| For the past seven years, we have been working with
partners including English Partnerships, European Regional
Development Fund and Advantage West Midlands to develop a
railfreight terminal at Donnington, North
Telford. | |

The project involves the reinstatement of approximately
3km of railway line from Wellington to Donnington, which was closed
in 1991 and the track removed in 1993, and the construction of the
freight handling and storage facilities at Donnington.
This project is part-funded by the European Regional Development
Fund and Advantage West
Midlands. | |
The Telford Railfreight Project aims to support
employment and economic development within Telford and the region
with associated environmental benefits.
