Telford & Wrekin is responsible for delivering a
range of services for vulnerable adults living in our area.
These pages
describe: | |
 |
- the community care and support services available for
people who need help because of frailty, illness, disability or
substance misuse;
- the mental health services available to people with mental
health needs; and
- our responsibility to protect vulnerable adults who are at risk
of abuse.
You will find information about how to ask for support, the
process to be followed and the standards we have set for delivering
services.
This information is also available in our
directory of services 2007/2008.
You will also find information about specific services within Adult
and Consumer Care by using the links on the left and right.
See also information on the Citizens Advice Service, which helps
people resolve legal, money and other problems by providing free,
confidential and independent information and advice.
Advice is available face-to-face and by telephone. Most bureaux
offer home visits and some also provide email advice.
