Education welfare service |
| The Education Welfare Service works with all schools and
parents to ensure that every child of statutory school age receives
education. | |
The service is available to schools through a planned
programme of visits over the academic year by a designated
Education Welfare Officer.
We give support to schools, parents and children on a range of
issues including school attendance, pupil welfare, exclusions, the
regulation of child employment and performance licences.
