Adult Social Services compliments, complaints and
comments |
| Information on sending compliments, comments or
complaints about adult social
services. | |
|
We want to hear from people about the services they are
receiving. We think that listening to our service users' comments,
whether good or bad, helps us to improve the way we do things. We
welcome any suggestions about how we might do things better and we
are pleased if we get compliments about particularly good pieces of
work. We are happy to receive complaints if we have got things
wrong or not served you well, and will always do our best to put
things right.
We have an established complaints procedure, in line with what the
law says. If you are unhappy with any aspect of the service you are
getting, it is usually best to speak to the manager of the service,
so that they can try to put it right. If that is not possible, you
can contact the Service Standards Unit, who will register your
complaint and make sure your concern is properly looked into.
You can get a complaint form from any social worker or from the
Service Standards Unit. You can either fill a complaint form in and
send it to us, or make your complaint over the phone or by email.
If it helps, someone from the Service Standards Unit can visit you
to take your complaint.
