Work experience

• Our staff speak to local employers to establish if they have jobs suitable for work experience placements.
• They talk to you to find out more about you and what type of work you would be interested in. What suits your needs, interests and skills?
• Once you have started work experience they will carry on supporting both you and your employer. This includes helping you to decide how you want to progress in the future.

Employment Link

• Our staff help you to look at how working would affect your benefits, and check what else you may be entitled to receive.
• We work with local employers to gain their support in employing people with disabilities.
• We will help you to look for a job, apply for it, and prepare for the interview.
• We talk to you to find out more about you and what type of work you would be interested in. What suits your needs, interests and skills?
• Our staff can train you in your job and look at how you would travel there.
• They support both the employee and employer after a job starts, when required.
• We see if there is any equipment or change required to help you to do your job.

• We work with other employment agencies and charities.
