Inclusive Leisure & Specialist Support

The Inclusive Leisure and Specialist Support Team provide mainstream leisure activities for disabled adults and specialist support for individuals with profound and multiple needs.
The service runs from 3 buildings:
  • The Lakeside Centre in Stirchley, opened on 8 May 07 after being refurbished to meet the therapeutic and health needs of disabled adults with profound and multiple needs.
  • Halesfield Day Service is based at Halesfield 22 and provided a base for disabled adults prior to their leisure activity whether that be community based or within Halesfield.
  • Dothill Resource Centre is a new build which is based in Wellington and is due to open in April 2009 and will provide a community resource that will meet the needs of disabled adults.
