As set
out in our Purchase Plan 2006/07, the Council and Shropshire
Partners in Care (SPIC) have committed to working together to
produce an updated contractual framework for purchasing care within
residential and nursing homes for older people in Telford &
Wrekin. The project is nearing completion and this page now allows
you to view the documents that make up the
Pre Placement
Agreement
(PPA). | |

The Pre Placement Agreement is a type of
contract, and the Council's expectations on how we will do business
are defined within the Terms & Conditions section of the
Agreement.
The Specification for Residential Care and
Specification for Nursing Care also form part of the contract, and
explain the outcomes that the Council expects from its purchasing
arrangements.
The Monitoring Schedule details the arrangements
for long term partnership working between the Council and Care
Homes so as to safeguard individuals and increase service
quality.
