Health and Well Being Strategy |
Telford and Wrekin Health and Well Being
Strategy
The 'Health and Well Being Strategy' is an overarching joint plan
of Telford and Wrekin Council and Telford and Wrekin Primary Care
Trust (PCT) addressing how we will improve the quality of life and
health outcomes for people living in our
area. | |
It describes our objectives and our targets and builds
upon a robust understanding of where the organisations are and
where we need to be to meet our population's needs most
effectively. Among the sources of information used to produce the
strategy are:
- National policies and targets for improvement
- What the public say that they want and the experiences of
people who use care services.
- The views of clinicians and other staff in the PCT and the
Council.
- The views of other stakeholders such as community and voluntary
organisations, and local businesses.
- Information about what our local population needs now and in
the future, for example the evidence contained within the 2007
'Health and Well Being Foundation
Report'.
The Strategy will be published in the summer of 2008 and will be
available on this website.
