Empty and derelict properties |
| The Housing Service tries to ensure that empty properties
are kept secure and free from
rubbish. | |

Where a property is empty, we will work with the owner to
bring it back into use. In some cases, the council will consider
the compulsory purchase of long term vacant and derelict
properties.
Please tell our Empty Property Officer if you know of any vacant
or unsecured houses that need to be brought back into use or are
causing problems. You can do this in many ways:
