Football
Synthetic Turf Pitches
We are proud to offer
one floodlit, synthetic turf pitch.
Grass Pitches
Oakengates Leisure Centre has 3 senior football pitches and 1
junior pitch.
The senior football pitches are host to the Saturday and Sunday
league football clubs during the season. For league details contact
Ken Ford on 01952 613388.
Availability
The pitches are available throughout the winter season and must be
booked seven days in advance. Please ring the centre for further
details.
Rugby
The centre has one rugby pitch which is
the home to Telford Raiders Amateur Rugby League Club. The senior
team play on Saturdays during the summer in the West Midlands
Conference. For details contact Fred Baker on 01952 244817,
Availability
The rugby pitch is available for
bookings throughout the winter season. Please ring the centre seven
days in advance to book a pitch.
Athletics
Telford Athletics Stadium opened in
1991. It has a 400 metre synthetic running track and field event
facilities. The facility is fully floodlit and is therefore
available for training after dark.
Availability
The track is available for casual
use during weekday evenings after 5pm* and throughout the day at
the weekends and during school holidays.
* Telford Athletics Club train on the track on Tuesday and Thursday
evenings between 6pm and
