Before Telford & Wrekin can start rebuilding or
refurbishing schools, it needs to develop robust plans to gain
government approval of our proposals. Telford & Wrekin's
'
Strategy for Change Part 1' was approved by the government in
December 2007 and Strategy for Change Part 2 was approved in June
2008. The construction work will be procured through a Local
Education Partnership (LEP), which is a consortium of Telford &
Wrekin, Partnerships for
Schools (PfS, a non-departmental government agency) and a
commercial organisation.
