engineering, education, encouragement and by working closely with
the Police on road safety

Contact the Road Safety Team for matters relating to Road
Safety Education, Training and Publicity or Safe & Active
Travel to School.
Contact the Traffic Management Team for matters relating
to Road Safety Engineering. This includes local speed
restrictions, weight restrictions, traffic calming and general
road safety engineering issues.
If something on the highway is damaged, broken or dangerous
report a street fault using the online form
The local road safety strategy is outlined in the Borough's
Local Transport Plan (2006 - 2011). This also contains the
Borough Road Safety Plan which explains how we aim to prevent
crashes on our roads.
