We continue to host a number of visits of delegates from
the highway authorities who wish to find out in more detail about
the successful transport schemes in the Borough. If you are from a
highway authority and would be interested in working with us to
improve transport delivery in your authority please email

In November 2005 a 'Travel to Work Roadshow'
was held for local businesses and other local authorities. The day
explored the transport solutions the Borough has put in place in
order to help improve accessibility.
As part of the Beacon Peer Support project, we are currently
commencing a research project into identifying potential transport
barriers and seeking best ways in which to communicate with
community groups. Results of the project will be disseminated
nationally in due
