Borough of Telford & Wrekin

Safety in cars

People in cars are the biggest casualty group in the Borough. Whilst a large number of those injured are drivers, many of the casualties are passengers.

There are many reasons for the collisions - speed being a major one. Passengers are often injured simply because they are not using the correct seatbelt or child restraint.
