Travelling Safely

It is the Council's aim to work towards improving access mobility and public transport. The role of Road Safety Team and the Traffic Managment Team is to make it as safe as possible for all who travel in or through the Borough.

Through Travelwise and our Safe Routes to School project we aim to encourage greater levels of active travel within the Borough and much of our work relates to getting people out of their cars for local journeys. In addition to this we work together to ensure that the roads and those who use them are also safe.
