How to report a pothole

I have a pothole in my road, how do I report it and when will it be filled?
Pothole in road
Firstly you must tell us about the pothole. You can do this by using our online problem reporting page or by contacting us.

We will log your enquiry onto our works management system where it will be allocated a unique enquiry number. The system will automatically generate a request for one of our highway inspectors to visit the site where you have reported the pothole.

Once our inspector has assessed the pothole we will normally issue a job to our contractor with a response time based on the severity of the problem.

Any potholes which we assess as being a hazard to the public will normally be dealt with within 24 hours.

All other less serious defects will be given a range of response times from 5 days to 20 days.
