How to request a skip permit |
| I want to place a skip on the highway, how do I request
permission to do
this? | |
|
If you want to place a skip on the highway the skip
provider will need to
apply for a permit to do so.
Once we have received an application from the skip provider, we
will inspect the site to see that the site is suitable. Generally
we will look to see that there are no safety reasons why permission
cannot be granted.
If the site is suitable, we will then give you approval.
Contractors carrying out the work must be approved, in terms of
accreditation under the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991, and
have public liability insurance in excess of
£5million. | |
