Please note: The Environmental Maintenance team
is currently carrying out consultation to see whether you think
there is a problem with abandoned
shopping trolleys in the borough and what you
think the council should do about them.
We are also responsible for a number of initiatives such as the
No Ifs, No Butts campaign which
encourages smokers not to drop cigarette ends on our streets and
public land; and the Fly Posting - Cancelled campaign which
explains how you can face fines of more than £2,500 if you place
unauthorised posters and signs on highways and other council
owned land.
