Graffiti is
criminal damage.
We have a dedicated Graffiti Busters team which aims
to rid the borough of all graffiti.
We have made a promise to you that we will respond
to offensive graffiti within 2 hours of it being reported to
us.
The service is available for residential and other privately owned
property and is free of charge.
We do request the completion of a disclaimer being completed prior
to the works being carried out.
Vandalism is defined as any damage or destruction of
property. This is also criminal damage and can
include buildings, street furniture such as benches, lighting,
bins, trees and bushes etc.
We have powers to prosecute offenders where
evidence is available and welcome all reports of graffiti and
vandalism as well as other anti social environmental
problems.
