2008

|
NEW for 2008 the bus is FREE to Museum passport
holders! Just show your valid passport to the driver as
you get on the bus.
The Gorge Connect bus service operates weekends and bank holiday
Mondays from the weekend before Easter until the end of
October.
The service is the perfect way to get around the local
attractions of the Ironbridge Gorge, including the numerous museum
sites.
If you're driving to the area, park your car at Legges Way car
park or one of the museum sites and hop on the bus, meaning there's
no need to spend any of your day getting lost and can instead enjoy
all the sights and history of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
For those who live locally, catch the amberline
11/22 Quality Bus Route to Madeley, where you can get on The Gorge
Connect easily. Or for those who live within the Ironbridge Gorge
area, why not use The Gorge Connect to head to Telford Town Centre
where you can shop, bowl, go to the cinema or the ice rink to name
but a few. The Gorge Connect also calls at Telford Central Railway
Station too.
Travelling on The Gorge Connect is easy. All the buses are low
floor for easy boarding, especially helpful for wheelchair users or
those with pushchairs.
The Gorge Connect serves the following
locations:
Coalbrookdale, Museum of Iron/Enginuity
Museum of the Gorge
Ironbridge
Madeley High Street
