Local Transport Plan 2006-2011 |
The Transport Act 2000 requires all Highway
Authoroties to produce a Local Transport Plan (LTP) which sets out
a five year strategy and action plan for improving local transport.
Council's are also required to produce an Accessibility Planning
Strategy which focuses on improving people's access to services
such as employment, education, healthcare and food
shops.

The second Local Transport Plan (LTP2) for Telford
and Wrekin Council sets out how we will spend Government capital
funding allocated for local transport over the period 2006 - 2011.
The plan contains a strategy and programme designed to meet local
and national targets based on 'indicative planning guidelines' or
funding levels announced by the Government.
