Vision
Telford & Wrekin School Improvement Service build on the successful partnership with schools. This is based on principles of trust, challenge and support. The service aims to secure sustainable school improvement through raised aspirations and high levels of achievement for the whole cooperative community. It develops high quality inspirational learning experiences across all learning communities with improved equality of opportunity for all children and young people. The service provides cost effective and outstanding professional expertise that responds to need through innovative, creative and flexible approaches.

Support packages
There are separate packages available for primary and secondary schools in the form of 'Core' and 'Bespoke' offers. Details of these can downloaded below:

Continuing Professional Development [CPD] courses
Professional development for school leaders, teaching staff and governors is available with courses and in-house support tailored to individual specifications. Details of these are available below:

  • Dialogue with schools

  • Communication across teams
  • 14- 19 Newsletter
  • Governance service
  • E-safety policies for schools
  • Continuing participation of schools in LA working groups
  • Securing the SLA with Shropshire Council
  • NHS remodel on budget
  • Telford & Wrekin Learning Partnership (TWLP) up & running with schools joining not expected

  • New projects e.g. Travel to Learn & IPad project
