Telford and Wrekin Area Wide Prospectus (AWP) and Common Application Process (CAP) or Options4taw.
Visit the Options4taw website.
A joint Options4taw Board meets regularly to lead the Area Prospectus and Common Application Process developments.
The Area Prospectus (AWP) provides young people with information about the qualification pathways they can follow at both 14-16 and 16-19.
The Common Application Process (CAP) connected to the Area Wide Prospectus (AWP) enables young people in Year 11 to apply for the post-16 opportunities online, and provides a mechanism for ensuring that every young person has the offer of a suitable education or training place, and gets the right amount of support at the right time.
Learners in Telford and Wrekin are issued with a username and password during Year 10, which enables them to use the CAP system and apply for post-16 opportunities.
All providers are required to update their post-16 opportunities annually in September.
Schools can also upload their 14-16 opportunities onto the AWP to support the options process in Year 9.
