The Extended Learning team coordinates and delivers a wide range of extended learning activities to help raise achievement, aspiration and self-esteem of children and young people. The team aims to:

• provide high quality, safe extended learning experiences in term time and during school holidays
• raise aspirations and knowledge of children and young people about further and higher education and the world of work
• improve children and young people's health and well-being
• raise aspiration and attainment through study support programmes, workshops, and other subject based activities
• improve the attitudes of children and young people by involving them in activities that raise their self esteem
• improve attendance at school by showing children and young people that education is worthwhile
