We want to raise the achievement, aspirations and self-esteem of all children and young people by creating borough-wide, vibrant and inclusive Learning Communities.
Our BSF programme will bring together secondary schools, primary schools and a range of community facilities including children's centres, health, sports, arts and leisure services for the benefit of the whole community.
This is a top priority for the Council. It is part of our Co-operative Council approach that promises to work closely with residents, staff, partners and other organisations to deliver the best we can for the borough and local people.
Learning Communities will transform learning and leisure activities through new and modernised school buildings and through use of the latest technology.
