Buildings exempt from requiring Building Regulation approval
A conservatory built at ground level and with a floor area of no more than 30 square metres is normally exempt, provided that any glazing and any fixed electrical installation complies with the Building Regulations (for example Part N - Glazing and Part P - electrical safety). The conservatory should be thermally seperated from the building
