Telford Town Park

The new Telford Town Park website is currently under development, a launch date is scheduled for August 2011.

The new website will include a number of exciting and interactive features including:

• An interactive map of the 170 hectare Park to help you plan your visit, from identifying the Park facilities to planning your journey;
• Latest news on the Projects taking place within the Park and the Telford Town Centre Area
• Downloadable Educational Packs available for schools and families (September 11)
• Downloadable material including walking and cycling maps (Summer 2012)
• Information about the vast array of wildlife found within the Park
• Information on the Parks rich historical past
• Fun games for all to get involved
• Information on the volunteering opportunities available within the Park

The Friends of Telford Town Park (FOTTP), the park's primary volunteer group, formed in 2002 with a small group of three people, who all felt that the park needed some extra care and attention. The group was formally constituted in July 2004 and currently consists of over 20 members from all walks of life. If you are interested in volunteering within the park and would like to find out more about the group visit their website.
