Telford Town Park

Both Telford Town Park and Southwater are currently witnessing exciting times with both the delivery of the £3.4m Parks for People Project and the £250m Southwater Development.

Southwater

The first phase of the scheme started on site in January 2011 and involves major earthworks preparing the way for the installation of the new underground services required for the development.

As the work required for this major scheme is so extensive, it will mean that several areas of the site have been fenced off and secured.

In readiness of these enabling works, preliminary tree clearance work took place in November 2010  and were carried out in line with the developments Ecological Mitigation Strategy. For information visit www.heartoftelford.com.

Parks for People

Delivery of the first phase of the master plan is due to commence Summer 2011 and plans include to work from the more remote areas moving north, avoiding the most populated areas at their busiest times.
