Planning application fees

In most cases you need to pay a planning fee. How much depends on the type of application and what you are proposing to do. The planning fee list shows what you need to pay.

A planning fee is not required if your application is for listed building consent, works to trees in a conservation area or tree preservation orders.

If you are unsure what the fee should be you can calculate your fee using the Planning Portal's Calculator or you can contact the Planning team.

Visit the Planning Portal website to make a planning application online and at the same time pay your planning fee securely through the Planning Portal.

The Council accepts payment by both debit and credit cards and there is no charge.

You can also pay by telephone on 01952 380380 or by or visiting the Civica epay website to pay for your planning application. If you pay by cheque please make it payable to 'Telford & Wrekin Council'. Unfortunately we do not take cash payment.
