It may take you a few weeks for you to decide to contact us, but we encourage you to ask any questions you have – we are happy to chat about anything that is troubling you.
We have staff and foster carers every Friday in Southwater between 12noon and 2pm for you to go and chat to – or you can go onto our Facebook page.
Once you have enquired and we have all your details, we carry out some statutory checks to make sure nothing stands in your way and then we will contact you.
After a chat and maybe visiting your home, you may decide not to continue or we may advise that you are not suitable right now but maybe wait until something changes in your life.
If you decide to carry on we will invite you to attend our next Skills to Foster Training Course. This will equip you with the knowledge and skills you need to become a foster carer.
It can take between four to twelve months to go through everything to become a foster carer, but we help and guide you along the way and we are always available to answer your queries.
Think it's for you?
Register your interest and someone will be in contact - you are not committing to anything at this stage.
